Swim Team Party

I have to say the end of swim team was quite a relief, but it was a good experience for Ellie. But twice a day practices Monday-Wednesday and Thursday swim meets got a little tiring. Ellie has always loved water and she is a really good swimmer. In fact she will begin year round swim team this fall. The team party was lots of fun. They even threw a watermelon into the pool that the kids were trying to toss from side to side. The final fun was catching goldfish they put into the pool.

We even got to take these fabulous fish home. And much to our surprise 2 days later they are still alive. The kids were sooooo excited to have 3 new pets! Now do you think they will last another 2 days. Hmmmm, think I'll be making a trip to the pet store soon.
