July 12th marked 13 years since I married my best friend. Doug took the day off work, which was a really nice break for him. We watched the kids swim in the morning. Then my mom came to stay with the kids so we could go to a movie and dinner. That was an extra special treat since Doug is not a big movie guy. We went to dinner at our very favorite place, The Roadhouse. I feel really lucky to have such a happy marriage to a wonderful man.
