Camping (again)

We took our second camping trip of the summer with Doug's family. Deb and her family were able to join us from North Carolina so the cousins had a chance to play. We joined Wayne and Martha on their Elks Kamper Klub campout so the old folks had a chance to be entertained(or bothered) by the constant noise of little people. We camped at Camp Sherman and even went back to Scout Lake. This trip was 3 nights which is a little long for life in a tent according to me. However, the kids had a blast and enjoyed time with the whole family.

We walked to the store for ice cream(I like camp trips with stores and Yes, we had flush potties!)
Andrew is 8
Pa, Jack and Chris
I think the wine is a must for camping(don't they look alike)
Pa gets some help from Jack, maybe supervision is more like it.
this sign speaks for itself
a game of bean bag baseball with the kamper klub
Dinner!
The kids loved their time in the lake
Tom even got a chance to relax. He wasn't feeling well and really shouldn't have been traveling but all is well and we were glad we got a chance to see him.

Hmmm, same suit and floatie from the trip a couple weeks ago
Loves the water so much, always has!
Jumping of the floating logs was a favorite of the kids.
An almost family picture

Ok thought I better get one picture of myself in here.
Wayne and Tom
We went to the Fish Hatchery and had fun feeding the fish
Chris, who will be 7 in a month, loved the fish
checking out the Metolious river

They were even able to touch the fish

The only girl cousin!
It's hard to get them all in a picture

Doug and his dad running the BBQ
For some reason the life jackets and our trailer provided hours of entertainment.
The BOYS, cheese puffs, dirt, and a tent!

Jack loves to roast marshmellows for others. BTW the long haired boy is a friend they made from another campsite.
A little too much family time, Doug??
The campfire, one of the best parts of camping.
So excited to watch pa dump the poop. Oh, kids are funny!
